nesting.

saturday was my last day at the dress shop so that i had time to rest up and nest for baby boy.
[i am going to miss the girls that i work with so much.  thank You, Jesus, for the season that I was allowed to work there, for all the friends that I cherish, and the beautiful brides that I got to take a small part in their story.]

without a job to break up my week i thought I was going to be totally claustrophobic and start to go stir-crazy in my own home, but, as my husband pointed out to me last week, I don't tend to run out of "stuff" to do.  and this week there has been plenty to keep me busy already... we are almost ready [not 100% yet, don't forget, little boy] for little guy to arrive.  Sunday was the fabulous shower that my mom threw for me [with a little help from my friends], and boy were we showered with gifts!!  it was a truly wonderful time - pictures to come in a shortly later post.

here are a few glimpses from the last few days of my life.

i've miss making dinner.
pre-meatloaf.

yummy...
this recipe will definitely be a repeat in our home.

ready to run errands and exchange duplicates!
we were able to do that the other night, and have everything that we feel like we need right now!
SO blessed.

garage sale'ing with my man in a local neighborhood.
best treasure: a box .full. of old generous-sized scraps of material for my [hopeful] sewing class i am going to take over the summer online!
and it was stinkin' $1!!!

to the left, to the left...
